Chelsea's Spanish midfielder Oriol Romeu has agreed to join La Liga side Valencia on a season-long loan deal.
Romeu, who has made 33 appearances for the Blues, joined the club from Barcelona in 2011, but has now moved temporarily to Spain in order to get more first-team football.
"Oriol Romeu has today (Friday) joined Valencia on a season-long loan," read a statement on the club's official website.
The 21-year-old was injured for the second half of last season but had previously made nine appearances for Chelsea.
