Andre Scurrle: 'No Chelsea contact'

Bayer Leverkusen striker Andre Scurrle has dismissed speculation that he has held transfer discussions with Chelsea.

Recent reports had claimed that the Blues had firmed up their interest in the 21-year-old by submitting an offer for the centre-forward.

However, Scurrle has insisted that no talks have taken place with anyone from Stamford Bridge.

"I and my agent have not had any contact [with Chelsea] so we will just have to wait," Scurrle told German Sky.

"We will see how interesting it is when it becomes concrete."

Earlier today Scurrle was named part of Germany's preliminary squad for Euro 2012.
