John Terry: 'Still no talk of new Chelsea contract'

Chelsea captain John Terry reveals that there is still "no dialogue" between himself and the club over an extension to his contract.

Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed that there is still "no dialogue" between himself and the club over a new contract at the end of the season.

The 35-year-old announced at the end of January that he would be leaving the club when his current deal runs out this summer having been told by Chelsea that they were not planning to offer him an extension.

The club responded by issuing a statement that seemed to keep the door open for Terry, but the former England international admits that he is still in the dark over his future.

"I really hope [these games won't be my last for Chelsea]. You don't know, and there's no dialogue at the moment, but that's not to say there won't be. Who knows what the future's going to hold for me?" he is quoted as saying by PA.

Terry has missed Chelsea's last four games with a hamstring injury but revealed earlier today that he could be involved in some capacity against Stoke City on Saturday.
