West Bromwich Albion have reportedly entered the race to sign Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea for the rest of the season.
Lukaku is thought to be open to a loan move away from Stamford Bridge with the arrival of Samuel Eto'o pushing the Belgian striker down the pecking order at the club.
Everton emerged as the early front-runners to sign him on a temporary basis, but Sky Sports News now understands that West Brom have entered the race.
Lukaku is understood to favour a move to The Hawthorns having spent last season on loan with the club, scoring 17 goals in 38 appearances.
The 20-year-old is currently on his way to the West Brom training ground with a view to completing a season-long loan deal, according to reports.
The Baggies are also currently negotiating with Victor Anichebe and Stephane Sessegnon as to potential transfers, while Shane Long looks to be on his way out of the club.
