West Ham United have rubbished rumours linking Declan Rice with a £50m move to Chelsea, according to a report.
For a number of weeks, the 21-year-old has been linked with a move away from the London Stadium after he enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign with the Hammers.
Rice supposedly caught the attention of Chelsea after playing every minute of Premier League football in the most recent season, but according to Sky Sports News, West Ham will not sanction a sale for the England international this summer.
The report claims that any bids in the region of £50m will be swiftly rejected, and with Rice having a contract at the London Stadium until 2024, West Ham are hopeful that their player of the season will stay on for several years.
Chelsea have already been busy in the transfer market and are reportedly at the front of the queue for highly-rated Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz.
Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner will don the blue jersey for Frank Lampard's men next season, and Chelsea are also believed to be in the market for a new left-back ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
