Chelsea are allegedly open to Mykhaylo Mudryk spending a part of the summer representing Ukraine Under-21s at the European Championship.
In January, Chelsea committed to paying a fee in the region of £89m to secure the signing of the winger from Shakhtar Donetsk.
At the time, it was perceived that the Blues had pulled off a coup to edge out Arsenal for his signature, yet the 22-year-old has, so far, failed to justify his price tag.
Despite playing 747 minutes of football spread over 17 appearances, Mudryk has contributed just two assists, failing to net a single goal.
With Mauricio Pochettino being appointed as the club's new head coach, there is hope that the new arrival will be able to get the best out of one of the most expensive signings in the history of the West Londoners.

As it stands, that will theoretically come through a full pre-season under the Argentine with Chelsea due to face a number of Premier League teams in the United States.
However, according to journalist Matt Law of The Telegraph, the player has indicated that he wants to play for his country at the upcoming Under-21 European Championship.
Mudryk is said to view the tournament as an opportunity to rediscover his confidence and form in the hope of replicating it when he returns to Chelsea.
On Monday, Mudryk scored his first-ever goal for the Ukraine senior team in their friendly against Germany, and he will remain with the national team for at least the next week.

Ukraine have important Euro 2024 qualifiers against North Macedonia and Malta, Mudryk in line to earn his 12th and 13th caps respectively over the next seven days.
From June 21, though, Ukraine will face fixtures against Croatia, Romania and Spain in the group stages of the competition held in the aforementioned Romania.
The squad for that tournament has not been formally announced, seemingly leaving the door open for Mudryk to be included in due course.
Before becoming one of Ukraine's most highly-regarded players, Mudryk scored three times in 16 outings for the Under-21s, five of those appearances coming during qualifying for the competition.
