Juan Mata has expressed his delight after helping Spain to qualify for next year's World Cup with a win over Georgia on Tuesday.
The Chelsea winger found the net for his country as they booked their place in the finals with a 2-0 victory in Albacete.
That result was enough to see the unbeaten Spaniards finish at the top of Group I.
"I am very happy to win, to qualify first mathematically and to go out and score," Mata is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"In the last qualifiers it has been very difficult to score because it has been tight."
The draw for the group stages of the 2014 tournament will be held on December 6.
