Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that Arjen Robben has been the best player at this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
Despite failing to lead the Netherlands past Argentina in the semi-final earlier this week, Robben has been recognised for his performances by his former boss ahead of Saturday's third-place playoff against Brazil.
"I think Robben has been the best player of the World Cup," Mourinho told Yahoo. "I think from day one until the last match he was the player who play at a high level, never ever up and down, always up."
FIFA have included Robben on a list of 10 players in contention for the Golden Ball award.
