Cheltenham Town appoint Paul Buckle as manager on 12-month rolling contract

Cheltenham Town appoint Paul Buckle as the League Two side's new manager on a 12-month rolling contract.

Cheltenham Town have announced the appointment of Paul Buckle as their new manager on a 12-month rolling contract.

The 43-year-old's arrival comes just one day after the League Two side parted company with manager Mark Yates.

Buckle, who will take charge of his first game against Oxford United at Whaddon Road on Saturday, joins the club following managerial stints at Torquay United, Bristol Rovers and Luton Town.

Cheltenham are currently 18th in the league table after taking 22 points from 18 games.
