Cardiff City have announced the capture of Chesterfield striker Eoin Doyle for an undisclosed fee.
The deal sees the frontman join Russell Slade's ranks until the summer of 2018, with neither club releasing any details of the financial side of the move.
"When I heard about Cardiff's interest this morning, I couldn't ignore it," Doyle told the club's website as he sought to complete his deal.
"It was then a case of getting in the car and getting down here as quickly as I could. I'm really looking forward to getting going now and the challenge ahead.
"Now it's about getting into the team – we've a lot of good strikers at the Club already. Then it'll be a case of contributing as much as I can and scoring a few goals to help us up the League."
Doyle has been in impressive form of late, having bagged 25 goals in just 33 appearances this season.
