Half-Time Report: Antonio Candreva fires Lazio ahead

Lazio lead AC Chievo Verona 1-0 after 45 minutes of their Serie A clash at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi.

Antonio Candreva has given Lazio a 1-0 lead over AC Chievo Verona after 45 minutes of their Serie A clash this afternoon.

The visitors took the lead in the sixth minute when Keita Balde Diao won the ball in midfield and played in Candreva to fire a strike past the keeper at the near post.

Keita Balde came close to adding a second for his side, but saw his close-range effort blocked by Christian Puggioni.

The home side were forced into making two first-half changes due to injuries to Dario Dainelli and Perparim Hetemaj.
