Chievo have come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw in their Serie A meeting with Sampdoria at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi this evening.
Eder opened the scoring for the visitors in the eighth minute when he was slipped through on goal by Carlos Carbonero, before keeping his composure to place a low strike into the bottom corner.

Following their slow start, Chievo began to show more of a threat and Riccardo Meggiorini struck an effort high over the bar, before Roberto Inglese sliced a powerful shot wide of the post.
Inglese came even closer with his next effort, as his stinging drive on the turn from the edge of the box missed the top corner by a matter of inches.
The Gialloblu's pressure was finally rewarded in the 34th minute when Meggiorini's low delivery from the left wing picked out the unmarked Inglese inside the box to guide the ball past Emiliano Viviano and into the net.
Inglese was proving to be a major threat for the Sampdoria defence and the striker almost grabbed a second goal just before half time when his fierce attempt flashed wide of the target.

Chievo continued to look dangerous after the break and within minutes of the restart Lucas Castro saw his volley at the back post well blocked.
As the game moved past the hour mark the home side had another big chance to score as Fabrizio Cacciatore rose to meet Valter Birsa's free kick, before glancing a header narrowly wide of the far post.
Sampdoria survived unscathed yet again moments later as Alberto Paloschi got in front of his marker at the front post to meet Cacciatore's cross, but he could only place his header wide.
Edgar Barreto then almost punished Chievo for not taking their chances when he was picked out at the back post and flashed a volley inches wide of Albano Bizzarri's goal.
The hosts kept pressing for a late winner, and Nicola Rigoni came close to stealing all three points in added time when his strike was palmed away by Viviano, but they could not find the net for a second time as their run without a victory stretched to six games.
