Joe Dunne "very pleased" with Colchester United display

Joe Dunne says that Colchester United's 0-0 draw against Rotherham United is important as they have "stopped the rot".

Colchester United manager Joe Dunne has expressed his delight with his side's 0-0 draw against Rotherham United.

The U's had a Sanchez Watt effort ruled out in the first half for a foul on Millers goalkeeper Adam Collin, but Dunne says that the point, which ends a run of three consecutive defeats, is more than satisfactory.

"I was very pleased with the performance. We've stopped the rot, if you like," Dunne told The Gazette.

Colchester are 18th in the league table.
