Jabo Ibehre signs new Colchester United deal

Colchester United forward Jabo Ibehre signs a new two-year contract with the League One outfit.

Colchester United forward Jabo Ibehre has admitted his delight after signing a new two-year contract with the League One outfit.

The 30-year-old, who initially joined on loan from MK Dons last summer, moved to the U's on a permanent contract in January.

"I'm absolutely delighted to be signed up for another two years and, after last season, I'm looking forward to some good times here," he told the club's official website.

"I'm also looking forward to meeting up with the lads. Not the hard running I'm sure we'll be doing over there, no-one likes that, but getting back with the lads will be good. I can't wait to crack on with the new season."

Ibehre scored eight goals for the club last season.
