Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has claimed that his club are interested in signing fellow Dane Andreas Cornelius.
The 20-year-old is believed to have caught the attention of a number of European teams this season, having found the net on 17 occasions.
It appears that one of those clubs are Stoke, who Sorensen has revealed have asked for his opinion on the striker.
"There is definitely interest for Cornelius from Stoke," the veteran keeper told sporten.dk. "This is not the first time that I have been consulted about Danish players and I've told them that he is a special talent and that he has done well in Denmark.
"I said that he would be worth a look and they have done that. Now it is up to the club to decide whether he is the right fit for them and to discover if he would be interested."
Stoke manager Tony Pulis reportedly went to watch Cornelius in action last weekend.
