Cordoba have confirmed that Fede Cartabia suffered a fractured jaw in Saturday's goalless draw against Levante in La Liga.

The 21-year-old, who is currently on loan at the newly-promoted club from Valencia, suffered a facial injury during the second half of Saturday's clash.

The initial prognosis was not understood to be serious, but Cordoba have now revealed that the Argentine suffered a dislocated jaw and will therefore be out of action until 2015.

As it stands, Fede will return to his parent club at the end of the season.
