Pedro Sanchez wants Cordoba stay

Pedro Sanchez wants to remain with Cordoba this summer, according to his agent.

The agent of Pedro Sanchez has claimed that his client wants to remain with Cordoba this summer.

The central midfielder, whose eight goals helped Cordoba gain promotion to La Liga last season, has been strongly linked with a number of Spanish top-flight clubs in recent weeks.

However, the 27-year-old's agent has played down talk of a move.

"He wants to stay at Cordoba, that's his priority, as he feels comfortable and happy there. He participated in the promotion and he wants to stay with the club, to enjoy what he helped achieve," his agent has been quoted by Inside Spanish Football.

Cordoba beat Las Palmas on away goals in the final of the Segunda playoffs last season.
