Coventry City defender Danny Pugh has revealed that he is nearing a return to the first team following an ankle injury.
The 32-year-old has been out of action for the past two months with the problem.
However, the experienced left-back recently built up his fitness with an appearance for the Sky Blues' Under-21 side.
"It's been a very frustrating time for me," he told the club's official website. "Hopefully I'm past it now and can really push on from here.
"It's the first time I've ever had the injury and it's been a very frustrating time for me, but hopefully I'm past it now and can really push on from here. It's important for me to keep getting that match fitness and I'm pleased to get 90 minutes."
Coventry are back in League One action on Saturday when they entertain Fleetwood Town.
