Crawley Town boss Richie Barker has hailed his team's character after recovering from a goal down in the 3-2 victory over Gillingham in League One.
Danny Kedwell's 47th-minute penalty had given the visitors the lead but after both sides were reduced to 10 men when Gary Alexander and Charlie Lee were dismissed within minutes of each other, Barker's men fought back to 2-1.
However, Leon Legge's subsequent equaliser was cancelled out by Billy Clarke's 81st-minute winner, and the 38-year-old coach has praised his team for their mental strength.
He told BBC Sport: "We could have easily gone under after going a goal down and a man down, but my players showed what they were made of and they got their just rewards in the end."
The Reds, who sit sixth in League One, host Shrewsbury Town at the Broadfield Stadium next weekend.
