Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis has confirmed that his son Harry Davis is close to a return to first-team training.
The 22-year-old has been missing since suffering a knee injury two weeks ago, but Alex boss Davis confirmed at the time that the injury would keep the defender out 'for weeks rather than months'.
Davis told the club's official website: "We are hopeful Harry will come back into it soon. He has worked hard to get back and done well in his rehab work.
"He could be back with us towards the back end of this week but he will definitely be back for next week."
Crewe currently sit 19th in the League One table having taken just nine points from their 11 matches thus far.
