James McArthur to undergo scan on injured foot

Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur is due to undergo a scan after suffering a foot injury during his side's come-from-behind win over Spurs.

Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur has revealed that he is unsure how long he will be sidelined for after suffering a foot injury.

The Scotland international picked up the problem during his side's 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Despite completing the full 90 minutes at Selhurst Park, the 27-year-old is due to undergo a scan on Monday.

McArthur tweeted: "Not sure what the extent of injury is, wait and see on Monday."

Palace, who are up to 15th place in the Premier League table following their victory over Spurs, return to action next Saturday when they travel to fellow strugglers Burnley.
