Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has hailed the impact of manager Tony Pulis after he turned around Palace's campaign in the Premier League.
The Welshman replaced Ian Holloway in November with the team in the relegation places, but the Eagles now sit 11th in the table and are assured of a place in the top flight next season.
"Everyone just went 'wow'," Bolasie told reporters.
"It was no long speeches, it was short and sweet. We knew he was serious.
"He told us he had never been relegated, he stated that fact on his first day. He gave us belief and soul."
Bolasie recently said that Pulis should be named Manager of the Season for his efforts this year.
