Crystal Palace caretaker manager Keith Millen has praised the team for their performance during Saturday's defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League.
The Eagles put up a fight at Selhurst Park, but they were ultimately beaten by goals from Mikel Arteta and Olivier Giroud.
The loss has left 19th-placed Palace five points adrift of safety after nine games.
"I thought our organisation was terrific in the first half," Millen told BBC Sport. "We grew into the game and had a couple of half chances.
"All our hard work was undone within two minutes of the restart but the response from the players was the most pleasing factor for me."
Palace return to Premier League action next weekend when they make the trip to West Bromwich Albion.
