Crystal Palace contact Neil Warnock over returning as manager?

Crystal Palace reportedly contact Neil Warnock over a possible return to Selhurst Park as manager following the departure of Ian Holloway.

Crystal Palace have reportedly spoken to former manager Neil Warnock about the possibility of returning to Selhurst Park.

The Premier League outfit are in the hunt for a new boss following the departure of Ian Holloway, who admitted yesterday that he had become 'annoyed' with some of his new signings.

According to The Mirror, the Eagles are seriously considering reappointing Warnock, who left Leeds United in April and has since been working on BT Sport as a pundit.

Despite the club's reported interest in Warnock, the 64-year-old had previously insisted that he was not keen on returning to management.

Warnock held the top post at Selhurst Park between 2007 and 2010.
