Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Crystal Palace could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle.

Crystal Palace could be without at least six players for Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United at Selhurst Park.

While Daichi Kamada will serve the second of a three-match suspension, Chadi Riad (knee), Adam Wharton and Matheus Franca (both groin) all remain sidelined as they continue to recover from injury.

Saturday's game may also come too soon for Eddie Nketiah (hamstring), but star midfielder Eberechi Eze (hamstring) is back in training and could be involved in some capacity against the Magpies.

A back three of captain Marc Guehi, Maxence Lacroix and Trevoh Chalobah is set to remain intact, protecting goalkeeper Dean Henderson, while Daniel Munoz and Tyrick Mitchell operate as wing-backs.

Jefferson Lerma recovered from injury to make a cameo substitute appearance in Palace's 2-2 draw with Aston Villa last weekend, and he is now in contention to replace either Will Hughes or Cheick Doucoure in centre-midfield.

Ismaila Sarr and Justin Devenny were both on target against Villa, the latter of whom celebrated scoring his first Premier League goal, and both players could continue in advanced roles in behind central striker Jean-Philippe Mateta. However, one of those could be replaced if Eze is deemed fit to start.

Crystal Palace possible starting lineup: Henderson; Chalobah, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Doucoure, Lerma, Mitchell; Sarr, Devenny; Mateta
