Ian Holloway on the verge of sack?

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway is reportedly close to the sack at Selhurst Park following the club's poor start to their Premier League season.

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway is reportedly on the brink of the sack from the club following their poor start to their Premier League campaign.

Holloway's side were beaten 4-1 by Fulham on Monday night to consign them to their fifth consecutive defeat in the division.

The Eagles are currently 19th in the table and their poor run of results has left Holloway's job hanging in the balance, according to The Mirror.

The former Blackpool boss was locked in an hour-long meeting with club co-chairman Steve Parish following the loss to Martin Jol's side, although he refused to comment on his future when fielding questions after the game.
