Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has admitted that he is currently struggling to sign a new striker amid a poor run of form for the Eagles.
The capital side have failed to score in their last five games in the Premier League and were soundly beaten 4-0 at Manchester City on Saturday.
Pardew, however, has claimed that his team, who are eighth in the table, would have won at the Etihad if they had a forward in the mould of Sergio Aguero, who scored twice during the league match.
"Obviously we are trying to bring a striker in. Put Sergio Aguero in our side against Manchester City and I think we would have won that game," Pardew told reporters.
Palace have been strongly linked with a move for former Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who is currently a free agent.
