Crystal Palace have recalled winger Sullay Kaikai from his loan spell at League One side Shrewsbury Town.
The 20-year-old had initially been scheduled to stay with the struggling Shrews until January 16, while Palace boss Alan Pardew recently hinted at an extension of the youngster's stay at Greenhous Meadow.
However, Palace have now recalled the academy product, who has made five appearances for the Eagles' development side this season, scoring one goal.
Kaikai, who netted five times in 17 appearances for Shrewsbury during his time at the club, has also spent time on loan at Crawley Town and Cambridge United in recent years, winning the Young Player of the Year award at the latter last term.
A number of Championship clubs are thought to be keeping tabs on the winger.
