Borussia Monchengladbach have completed the signing of youngster Mandela Egbo from Crystal Palace.
The 17-year-old is an England youth international and was part of the squad that won the European Under-17 Championship in 2014.
Egbo turned down a professional deal with Palace to join Monchengladbach on a five-year contract, and he will play with the Bundesliga side's Under-23s in the forthcoming season.
"We are very happy that Mandela decided to play for us. He is a player with huge potential," Borussia's sporting director Max Eberl told the club's official website.
"He can play on the right wing both offensively and defensively. Now he has the possibility to rise up through the ranks of the U23 squad and make into the first team."
Egbo made 14 appearances for Palace's Under-21s last season.
