Ian Holloway reveals that he is finding it tough to add to his Crystal Palace squad this summer.

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has admitted that he has been left frustrated by the transfer market so far this summer.

Holloway has been able to secure the services of Jerome Thomas, Dwight Gayle and Stephen Dobbie, but other targets have eluded him.

Reflecting on the situation, Holloway believes that high asking prices are one of the major factors behind his problems.

"The chairman is learning, I am finding out how even more difficult it is compared to last time because of the zillions of extra quid that everybody's got," Holloway told reporters. "Everybody's asking for all sorts of things and it is almost ridiculous to get a deal done."

Peter Odemwingie, Quincy Owusu-Abeyie and Elliot Grandin have all been linked with moves to Selhurst Park in recent days.
