Tony Pulis: 'We want to keep Jason Puncheon'

Tony Pulis says that he would not want to sell winger Jason Puncheon, but it depends on what bids, if any, are received in the summer.

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has admitted that he has no intention of selling Jason Puncheon in the summer, but that he is braced for offers for the player due to his good form in recent weeks.

Pulis said that Puncheon, who scored twice in last weekend's crucial 3-0 win away to Cardiff City, could well attract bids in the summer and the amount offered would influence whether Palace would decide to sell.

"If somebody comes in and makes an offer because Jason is playing so well, we'll look at that offer," Pulis told BBC Sport. "That's the force of the market and it's what happens to the top players if they play well.

"Jason is playing ever so well for us, we don't want to sell him and I don't think we'll be talking about selling him when the season is over. But personally I know that happens in football and you just get on with it."

Palace are currently 14th in the Premier League with 34 points.
