Report: Crystal Palace chase Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse

Alan Pardew is reportedly chasing Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse, as he looks to strengthen the Palace squad this month.

Crystal Palace want to sign Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse, according to reports.

Cisse joined Newcastle from Freiburg three years ago and he has gone on to score 32 goals for the club, but the Daily Star says that the Senegalese international could be heading for the exit this month

Palace manager Alan Pardew worked with Cisse at Newcastle until he recently agreed to take over at the South London club, and he has made it clear that he mas money to spend on new recruits this winter.

Cisse could become the second striker to join Palace in this window, following Yaya Sanogo.
