Matt Partridge leaves Dagenham & Redbridge by mutual consent

Defender Matt Partridge leaves League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge by mutual consent.

Dagenham & Redbridge defender Matt Partridge has left the club by mutual consent.

The 21-year-old signed a new one-year contract before the start of the season.

Partridge made a total of 31 appearances for the League Two club after arriving from Reading last summer.

"We sat down and decided between us it's the right thing to do," manager Wayne Burnett told the club's official website. "We wish him well and I thank him for the contribution he has made."

Dagenham return to action on Saturday when they host Stevenage in the league.
