FC Dallas 1-0 New England Revolution

FC Dallas hands New England Revolution a 1-0 defeat in Texas.

FC Dallas handed the New England Revolution a 1-0 defeat in Texas tonight.

With half an hour gone, Blas Perez put strike partner Fabian Castillo through on goal for Dallas. However, the Colombian forward couldn't find the back of the net from his tight angle.

Moments later, midfielder Brek Shea came closest for the home side in an almost identical effort from the left-hand side of goal. Even so, New England keeper Matt Reis was able to make the save to keep the game goalless at the break.

Both sides continued to struggle to find the target after the restart, until Dallas defender Ugo Ihemelu was able to break the deadlock with a headed goal in the final minute of stoppage time from a late free kick.
