MLS side DC United are allegedly preparing a move for Nice striker Mario Balotelli.
The Italian, who has scored 21 goals in all competitions this term, is out of contract with the Ligue 1 side at the end of the season.
According to Sports Illustrated, United are said to have followed up their interest in the forward by contacting Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola.
Raiola confirmed to the news outlet that he has negotiated with several clubs over the striker's future.
"[Balotelli] has matured and he is one of the top ten strikers in the world. In Italy, he is number one. He is worst €100m (£87m), but his contract is expiring so he will be a bargain," the agent said.
"I am negotiating with clubs in England and Italy. I have spoken to Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Inter Milan."
Balotelli spent time with Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League before moving to France.
