A goal from Alex Pritchard has given Brentford a 1-0 lead over Derby County at half time in the Championship this afternoon.
Tom Ince came close to opening the scoring for the home side just five minutes in when Derby won a free kick just outside the box, but the midfielder's low effort was just wide of the post.
Ince continued to cause problems early on, getting himself free to receive a pass forward from Chris Martin, but his curling strike was tipped clear by David Button.
Brentford's first chance came 15 minutes in when Jota headed the ball on for Moses Odubajo, who unleashed a powerful finish on the turn, but Lee Grant kept it out.
The visitors continued to see more of the ball as the half-hour mark approached, and they managed to open the scoring when Pritchard cut inside from the left flank before driving the ball into the bottom corner.
The Bees could have doubled their advantage a few minutes later as Pritchard tried his luck from long range, but Grant watched it all the way to keep it out.
