Blackburn Rovers lead by a single goal at Derby County as they look to end a run of three games without a win.
The first chance of the match fell to the home side and Theo Robinson. The striker got on the end of a deep Connor Sammon cross from the left but sidefooted wide.
Blackburn had their first opening midway through the half when Morten-Gamst Pedersen's free kick was headed goalwards by Scott Dann and Rams keeper Adam Legzdins palmed clear.
Pedersen then took on a 30-yard free kick and was again kept out by Legzdins before Rovers took the lead 10 minutes before the break.
Derby failed to clear and the ball fell to Jordan Rhodes, who lashed home a volley from the edge of the area.
