Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's League One fixtures, including Northampton vs. Derby.

Two teams fighting for League One survival will face off in Saturday's meeting between Burton Albion and Port Vale at the Pirelli Stadium.

The Brewers head into the weekend in 19th place in the table, while the Valiants are currently languishing in 23rd position.

We say: Burton Albion 1-1 Port Vale

Both teams will be gunning for victory as they look to boost their survival hopes, but with the two sides finding wins hard to come by, we think they may have to settle for a share of the spoils.

Carlisle vs. Stevenage (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Facing off in one of a trio of third-tier matches this weekend, relegation-threatened Carlisle United will welcome playoff-chasing Stevenage to Brunton Park on Saturday afternoon in League One.

The Cumbrians are heading towards an immediate return to League Two following a poor run of form, whilst the Boro are attempting to reach a new height of the Championship.

We say: Carlisle United 1-1 Stevenage

Set to be supported by a bumper crowd at Brunton Park, Carlisle will be desperate to return to winning ways on Saturday afternoon against Stevenage.

The Boro are without their leading marksman on Saturday, and we reckon that their dreams of reaching the playoffs will take another blow in this one.

Northampton vs. Derby (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Derby County will continue their promotion push when they travel to Sixfields for Saturday's clash with Northampton Town.

The Rams occupy second spot in the League One table, while the Cobblers will head into the weekend in 14th position.

We say: Northampton Town 1-3 Derby County

Derby travel to Sixfields off the back of a fine run of form, and we think the promotion-chasing side will prove too strong for a Northampton team that will be low confidence following a poor spell of results.
