Doncaster Rovers midfielder James Coppinger has claimed that the club has a good chance of being promoted from League One this season.
Coppinger and his teammates were relegated in dramatic fashion last term, finishing below Birmingham City on goal difference in the Championship table.
However, the 33-year-old is confident that Rovers can bounce back at the first time of asking.
"We want to be successful and win the league like everyone in the division; there's no reason we can't," he told the club's official website.
"We've got some fantastic players in the squad, and although it's a smaller squad, we had a smaller squad when we won the league, so we know what we're capable of and what has to be done."
Doncaster get their League One campaign underway on Saturday with a trip to Yeovil Town.
