Uwe Rosler's unbeaten run as Wigan Athletic manager over after 3-0 loss.

Uwe Rosler's unbeaten run as Wigan Athletic manager came to a halt at the Keepmoat Stadium after his side lose 3-0 against Doncaster Rovers.

Wigan Athletic's unbeaten run under manager Uwe Rosler has come to an end after a 3-0 defeat at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The Latics had not lost in eight games under the German, though Doncaster Rovers, who themselves hadn't won in nine games in all competitions, comfortably saw off their opponents.

Paul Dickov's side took the lead through Chris Brown's early goal, with the striker left unmarked in the box to convert Paul Keegan's cross.

Rovers used the goal to build momentum and minutes later James Coppinger's cross was almost turned home by James Husband, only Ali Al-Habsi tipped it behind for a corner.

Rovers did eventually double their lead after 52 minutes courtesy of Coppinger, who found the back of the net from a tight angle.

Wigan's day got worse when Brown scored his second of the afternoon from the penalty spot, after Husband was felled in the area.

Despite the victory, Rovers remain in the relegation zone on goal difference.
