Team News: Chris Kirkland returns for Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray names the returning Chris Kirkland in his starting lineup for today's game at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Chris Kirkland has been named in the Sheffield Wednesday starting lineup for today's game with Doncaster Rovers after overcoming his injury.

The Owls' keeper had missed a number of games after sustaining a calf injury, but returns to the side in place of Damian Martinez.

Meanwhile, Rovers, who are currently five points clear of the relegation zone, are without the injured Gabrial Tamas, although Mark Duffy has overcome illness to start the game.

There is also a place in the squad for youngster Lewis Ferguson, who appears among the substitutes for the first time.

Doncaster Rovers: Johnstone, Coppinger, Husband, Meite, Quinn, Keegan, Wellens, Cotterill, Duffy, Brown, Sharp
Subs: Turnbull, Furman, McCullough, De-Val, Robinson, Stevens, Ferguson

Sheffield Wednesday: Kirkland, Buxton, Onyewu, Helan, Maguire, Lee, Palmer, Lavery, Nuhiu, Loovens, Best
Subs: Johnson, Coke, Mattock, Martinez, Afobe, Llera, Hutchinson
