Scottish Premiership roundup: Hamilton Academical triumph in Lanarkshire derby

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Saturday's Scottish Premiership matches.

With the top three clubs all in action tomorrow, attentions turned towards the bottom half of the Scottish Premiership table.

Hamilton Academical triumphed 1-0 over Motherwell in the Lanarkshire derby thanks to a goal from Dougie Imrie 18 minutes from time.

Kilmarnock came from behind to beat St Johnstone 2-1; David Wotherspoon opened the scoring before Josh Magennis levelled and a Brian Easton own goal handed Killie the points.

Dundee United's disappointing season has continued after Josh Meekings cancelled out Billy McKay's early opener in their 1-1 draw against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Elsewhere, Ross County kept up the pace on the top three with a 1-0 victory over bottom club Partick Thistle. Liam Boyce's fine form continued as he netted his sixth goal of the season.

Hearts meet Aberdeen tomorrow before Celtic host Dundee.
