Report: Dundee close in on Stephen Pearson

Former Scotland international Stephen Pearson is reportedly close to signing for Scottish Premiership side Dundee.

Dundee are reportedly on the verge of securing the services of Stephen Pearson.

The 32-year-old has recently been plying his trade in the Indian Super League, where he helped the Kerala Blasters to reach the final.

However, he is now a free agent and has recently held discussions with manager Paul Hartley regarding a switch to Dens Park, according to The Courier.

Talks are said to be at an advanced stage, with Pearson expected to sign a contract until the end of the season later this week.

Former Scotland international Pearson has played for a host of clubs, including Celtic and Derby County.
