Hertha Berlin's midtable clash with Eintracht Frankfurt remains goalless at the break after a half of few chances at the Olympiastadion.

Saloman Kalou thought that he was through on goal within the opening minutes after collecting Valentin Stocker's through-ball, but the former Chelsea forward was denied by the assistant referee's flag.

Genki Haraguchi then saw a fierce effort from outside the area well blocked by a Frankfurt defender, before Hertha's John Brooks hammered a Marvin Plattenhardt cross narrowly over the top of Kevin Trapp's goal.

Marc Stendera sent a vicious free kick narrowly wide from 30 yards in the final minutes of the first half, but the game remained goalless at the break.
