Lazio coach Stefano Pioli has suggested that his side are not getting the rub of the green after they fell to another defeat at the hands of Empoli on Sunday night.
Le Aquile were unlucky not to take three points from their away clash at the Stadio Carlo Castellani, as they had two second-half goals disallowed during the 1-0 loss, leaving Pioli to state that his side are not being rewarded for their improved efforts in recent weeks.
"The big decisions went against us. There is almost nothing to say when the three pivotal moments, that could have changed the result, don't go your way," Pioli told Sky Sport Italia
"My team played well, fought hard and did not deserve to lose the match.
"Our results are painful at the moment but the most recent performances have been encouraging so we must not lose faith. I saw a strong-willed Lazio tonight who struggled until the very end to get a result to take back to Rome."
Lazio have now lost four of their last five fixtures and sit in 10th spot in the Serie A standings.
