England manager Roy Hodgson has said that he would be prepared to fiddle with his squad if Gareth Barry is ruled out of Euro 2012.
The midfielder limped off during England's 1-0 win in Norway on Saturday and could now miss the tournament with a groin injury. The Manchester City player is due to undergo tests on Monday.
If Barry misses out then Jordan Henderson would hope to step in after being placed on the standby list, however it is possible that Phil Jagielka could be drafted in by Hodgson.
"I am prepared to reconfigure," said Hodgson.
"I am not necessarily looking to replace man-for-man in the midfield area because we have a lot of players in that area.
"We only have a couple of days to sort it out and we can't take any risks."
Jagielka has 11 caps for England.
