England striker Wayne Rooney has played down fears over his temperament.
The 26-year-old will be available for selection for the first time at Euro 2012 on Tuesday evening against the Ukraine after he completed a two-match suspension for kicking Montenegro defender Miodrag Dzudovic during a qualifier.
Asked by reporters if he needs to assess how he channels his aggression, Rooney replied: "I think I have done all season.
"What happened [in Montenegro] was a mistake. I understood that and apologised to the guy. I've paid the price. I've had to take it.
"I have no problems with my attitude or my temperament. I'm happy and I'm ready to play."
Rooney is widely expected to be put straight into the starting lineup for the clash with co-hosts.
