Thursday's Nations League predictions including Greece vs. England

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Nations League fixtures, including

Kazakhstan vs. Austria (Thursday, 3.00pm)

Amid a three-way battle for promotion from League B Group 3, Austria aim to improve their prospects with a win on Thursday, when they meet Kazakhstan in the UEFA Nations League.

Back-to-back victories have drawn the Austrians level with Norway and Slovenia on seven points, while their hosts have yet to win or even score.

We say: Kazakhstan 0-2 Austria

While Austria will believe they belong among Europe's elite, Kazakhstan are simply along for the ride at League B level, which has proved too tough for them so far.

The visitors should take care of business against their toothless hosts on Thursday, setting up a possible winner-takes-all showdown with Slovenia.

Armenia vs. Faroe Islands (Thursday, 5.00pm)

Both aiming to return to winning ways following difficult matches during the October international window, Armenia and the Faroe Islands will lock horns in Yerevan for a UEFA Nations League C clash on Thursday night.

Havakakan were defeated on their own turf by section leaders North Macedonia last time out, whilst Landslioio could only manage a share of the spoils with Latvia.

We say: Armenia 3-0 Faroe Islands

Following an alteration in the managerial hotseat after a difficult October, Armenia will be desperate to put the Faroe Islands to the sword on home soil.

Winless across their last 12 competitive matches, we are not expecting Landslioio to produce a surprise result in front of a hostile Yerevan crowd on Thursday night.

Belgium vs. Italy (Thursday, 7.45pm)

Needing one point to secure a place in the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals, Italy will meet Belgium as League A Group 2 draws closer to its conclusion on Thursday.

The Azzurri only need to deny their hosts victory at Stade Roi Baudouin, while it is a case of win or bust for the Belgians, who have picked up just four points so far.

We say: Belgium 1-1 Italy

Although an unhappy Belgium camp is beset by withdrawals and injuries, Romelu Lukaku knows his opponents all too well and may bail out his nation once again.

A point would be enough for Italy to seal progress in any case, so another score draw between these teams is the likeliest result.

France vs. Israel (Thursday, 7.45pm)

France will be looking to boost their hopes of finishing top of League A Group 2 in the UEFA Nations League when they play host to Israel at the Stade de France on Thursday evening.

Les Bleus secured a 4-1 away victory in the reverse fixture held in Budapest last month, courtesy of goals from Eduardo Camavinga, Christopher Nkunku, Matteo Guendouzi and Bradley Barcola.

We say: France 3-0 Israel

Israel will fancy their chances of finding the net on Thursday having scored in all four Nations League matches thus far, but they may not have as much joy against France this time around.

Indeed, Les Bleus will be regarded as firm favourites to come out on top in this fixture and we are backing an Mbappe-less side to secure all three points in comfortable fashion on home soil.

Greece vs. England (Thursday, 7.45pm)

England will be out for revenge when they travel to the Olympiako Stadio Spyros Louis in Athens to face Greece in their penultimate League B Group 2 fixture in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday.

The Three Lions suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to the Blues and Whites at Wembley Stadium last month courtesy of two goals from Vangelis Pavlidis, including a 94th-minute winner.

We say: Greece 1-2 England

The pressure is on Carsley to steer England to an important victory and the onus will be on his team to take the game to Greece, who have impressed on home soil and have made themselves difficult to break down in front of their own supporters.

England may be without several star players who Carsley would have liked to have selected in his side for this fixture, but he still has a wealth of talent at his disposal and if he names a less-experimental side that includes Kane leading the line, then the Three Lions should just about get the job done in Athens.

Rep. Ireland vs. Finland (Thursday, 7.45pm)

Republic of Ireland welcome Finland to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin for their penultimate League B Group 2 fixture in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday evening.

Both nations are at risk of suffering relegation to League C and they meet again just over a month on from the Boys in Green winning 2-1 in Helsinki.

We say: Republic of Ireland 1-0 Finland

There is a lot riding on the fixture for both nations as they bid to avoid relegation from League B. Neither side have looked particularly strong going forward, so a low-scoring affair could be on the cards in Dublin. Nevertheless, we are backing the home side to edge this one as they did in last month's reverse fixture.

Slovenia vs. Norway (Thursday, 7.45pm)

A thrilling conclusion to League B Group 3 is in prospect over the next few days, as both Slovenia and Norway feature in a three-way tie at the top ahead of Thursday's clash in Ljubljana.

While promotion cannot be decided until the final matchday, a win for either side would boost hopes of reaching the UEFA Nations League's elite tier.

We say: Slovenia 1-1 Norway

While Norway swatted Slovenia aside when they last met, a subsequent thumping by Austria and an extensive list of defensive absentees will surely take its toll.

Therefore, the spoils will be shared in Ljubljana, leaving both teams locked together on eight before Sunday's final round.

N. Macedonia vs. Latvia (Thursday, 7.45pm)

With the chance to secure their first-ever promotion to League B, North Macedonia will welcome Latvia to Tose Proeski Arena for a UEFA Nations League C contest on Thursday night.

The Lions recorded back-to-back victories during October's international break to pull ahead of the pack in League C Group 4, whilst the Wolves' unlikely promotion push suffered two blows.

We say: North Macedonia 2-0 Latvia

Possessing the opportunity to secure Nations League promotion in front of their home crowd on Thursday night, North Macedonia will be raring to dispatch Latvia in Skopje.

The Wolves are poor travellers and after scraping a draw at the Faroe Islands last month, we do not expect Nicolato's side to earn a shock result at Tose Proeski Arena.
