Leighton Baines withdraws from England squad

Everton left-back Leighton Baines has become the latest player to pull out of the England squad that takes on Wales tomorrow evening.

The defender suffered a hamstring strain during a training session on Sunday and has joined Darren Bent and Micah Richards in returning to his club side.

Manager Fabio Capello, who now has a 22-man squad to select from, has decided against calling up a replacement for any of the absent trio.
