Fabio Capello: 'Sweden will be difficult'

Fabio Capello says that England's mentality must change if they are to beat Sweden on Tuesday.

Fabio Capello has said that England face a tough challenge if they are to repeat their success against Spain when they take on Sweden on Tuesday.

England defeated world champions Spain 1-0 on Saturday, but Capello believes that the mentality of his squad must change to see off a team ranked lower them.

"When you think the opponents are better than you, then you have to play at the top," Capello said. "Your concentration and focus is right at that level, all game.

"But what is difficult is when you play a team and you think you are better than them. Then you really need to play at the top level. This is the change we need to make.

"Against Sweden, it will be really difficult. Their movement when they defend is very good and then they play on the counter-attack.

"Also, now, after we have beaten Spain, they will come here thinking we are good, So they know they will have to play better, and so will we."

England last beat Sweden in 1968, and in the 10 matches since they have drawn seven and lost three.
